- Dr. M. Yokeswaran, BSMS, is a Siddha Physician with a particular interest in the traditional management of pain, chronic health conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders. A graduate in Siddha Medicine in 2023, he has developed clinical experience in specialised Siddha external therapies, including Varma Thadaval Murai and Kattu Murai, particularly for spine and orthopaedic conditions.
- His areas of clinical interest also include Leech Therapy for chronic skin conditions and non-healing ulcers. He incorporates these traditional therapeutic approaches according to the individual clinical needs of his patients.
- Alongside his medical practice, Dr. Yokeswaran is pursuing a Master’s in Counselling Psychology and Family Therapy and has experience supporting individuals through counselling. This additional training has strengthened his understanding of the emotional and psychological aspects of health and influences the way he communicates with and supports his patients.
- His practice reflects an interest in treating not only the presenting condition, but also understanding the person, their concerns, and the circumstances surrounding their health, bringing together Siddha medicine with a broader perspective on individual well-being.
